A picture is worth a thousand words

I love salty and savory food. Even when I was a kid I preferred eating cheese over cake. One of my grandmas is still trying to convince me to order dessert in restaurants and usually I just order an espresso. BUT last november I baked my first apple pie and even documented it. I stumbled across the photos last week (I was pretty proud of how it turned out) and thought sharing this picture would be a good start for what’s to come.

  1. Pie has made a significant appearance in my life before too.

In 1993 I was part of “The Artful Pie”, a wonderful cookbook that married fine art with pie making by Lisa Cherkowsky and Renee Comet.

And now art and PIE come together again.
